Please join us for the 24th Annual
Glover Park Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 11am – 5pm on the
grounds of Guy Mason Recreation Center, 3600 Calvert St. NW Washington, DC 20007
-- just east of the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Calvert Street.
This is a wonderful well-located spot for our neighborhood celebration and
draws a crowd from miles around. We advertise Glover Park Day in the
Washington Post and other local papers. We have approximately 30 artists each year who exhibit and sell jewelry, pottery, stained glass, quilted items, watercolors, etchings, children's toys, and much more. Most of our repeat exhibitors have told us that they like our festival because of its intimacy. Some feedback from participating artists in prior years -- “It’s more relaxed than some of the big craft shows.” “I get the opportunity to chat with customers.” “Glover Park Day is just always such a pleasant day, and the people are so nice.” Space for artists/crafters will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so reserve early by completing the attached form and returning it with your application fee. Please check your calendar carefully before you apply. Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded. If the event is rescheduled due to weather, we will apply your fee to the rain date which will be Saturday, September 21. Also note that the application requests your tax identification number (or social security or employer identification number). DC requires that we provide this information to them in advance of the event. Hope you can come! Please complete the Crafter Registration Form below and return the form with your payment by May 10, 2013. You can also complete and submit your Registration Form form online and pay the crafter fee online via PaypPal by clicking on the "Buy Now" button on the left sidebar. If you have further questions, please contact our craft-fair coordinator Barbara at bfusciello@hotmail.com |
